Abstract

This paper presents the design of an observer-based tracking controller for one-sided Lipschitz (OSL) Quadratically Inner Bounded (QIB) Nonlinear Systems considering perturbations in the output and reference tracking. Initially, the observer and controller synthesis procedures are formulated individually in the linear matrix inequality (LMI) framework. Then, a separation principle is established where it is proved that the separately designing observer and controller (guaranteeing error stability), when coupled, continue to converge. After having the convergence conditions of observer-based control (OBC), we proceed to show a numerical example to corroborate the theoretical developments in practice.
